Please
carefully read the following:
When paying
for our goods by Western Union
(WU), it is
VERY
IMPORTANT that you
tell the WU agent/office how
much in
GB POUNDS
needs to be received by
us. In other words, if your
total goods order comes to £150
GBP, you must tell the WU agent
that you would like to transfer
sufficient money so that £150
arrives in the UK, not less!
Western Union
will charge you whatever amount
(generally in your local
currency) that is required to
ensure that £150 arrives here.
How this works is that your
actual payment currency (e.g. $
USD) is converted to foreign
currency (i.e. £ GB POUNDS) at
an exchange rate set by Western
Union. Western Union will also
charge you a transfer fee which
will vary depending on the
amount of money involved, and
the destination country, etc -
visit their
website or phone your local
office if you require more
information or clarification.
Western Union
is a fast and safe way to
transfer funds, at reasonable
cost.
However,
another payment alternative
which costs nothing except a
stamp is Cash in an Envelope.
In many countries, tens of
millions of letters a day are
sent without anything being
stolen, but if you prefer, you
can send by a registered
service. If you use an
unregistered service, it is
often recommended to wrap the
cash well in kitchen foil or in
a few sheets of paper. Whatever
you do, make sure that you can
not see the money through the
envelope. If you want, you can
always "insure" the gamble of
mailing cash by breaking up the
money into 2 or more envelopes?
If you would
like to pay by cash, we usually
insist on £ GB POUNDS - currency
which can be obtained from many
banks, exchange houses, travel
agents, etc, but if you cannot
easily obtain Pounds, we can
usually agree to accept US
Dollars instead - we will set
the amount with you by email a
day or two before you intend to
mail the cash. We will normally
add a small amount extra to
cover the cost of us changing
the US Dollars back to GB
Pounds.
